Leedy-Voulkos Art Center, founded by Jim Leedy, has showcased regional, national, and international artists for over fifteen years in an attempt to help establish Kansas City as a center for the arts. Quality has always been their central goal, showing crafts along side painting and sculpture. While bringing international art to the area, much effort has been given to keeping the local talent at home.
