The Governor Holmes House

Located on Wall Street, this is the second oldest house in Natchez. The original section, built in 1794, was enlarged around 1805. The house was the center of the city's social life during David Holmes' governorship of Mississippi 1809-20.

Open Monday through Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday 1pm-4pm; closed major holidays.
