Grenada Lake Visitor Center

Located off Hwy 333 at the dam, this center provides information about Grenada Lake and the Grenada Lake Dam, as well as special activiites and events at the project. An 18 minute, three-screen multimedia theater presentation highlights the building of the dam and the many recreational facilities at the lake. Eight exhibit areas focus on the history of the region, including American Indian culture, the Civil War and area wildlife and fisheries.

The Visitor Center is highlighted by an observation deck that overlooks the lake, where picnic facilities and playground equipment are available for public use. Open daily.
