Jimmie Rodgers Memorial and Museum

This museum at Highland Park is dedicated to the 'Father of Country Music,' Meridian native Jimmie Rodgers. Exhibits at the small museum include his custom-made Martin guitar, personal items, concert clothing, sheet music and awards won by this singing legend.

An annual Jimmie Rodgers Festival highlights the man and his music, and features talent contests. Group tours of the museum are available by prior arrangement. Open daily, closed major holidays.
