Located on Harrison Street, this predominately Greek Revival mansion survived some of the heaviest fighting of the Civil War. Built in three sections, the house includes the original 1787 brick structure, a second part built in 1836 in the American Empire Style, and the Greek Revival segment built in 1849. All three sections are restored and furnished with antique tools, furniture and period art.

Comments: i just recently toured the McCraven house this weekend and it was a wonderful tour, i would go again if given the chance. while we were in the main room 4 light came on by themselves which was pretty amazing, especiallyy after i checked to see if there were any timers and i did not find any. it was a fabulous tour and even if you dont se ghosts just learning the history and seeing the authentic peices of history they have is an experience of a lifetime!
