Located on State and Capitol Streets, this building was completed in 1838 and served as the seat of Mississippi government until 1903. The restored structure, which houses the State Historical Museum, offers self-guiding tours, programs and lectures.

Open Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 9:30am-4:30pm, Sunday 12:30pm-4:30pm; closed major holidays.
