The Merry Wood Cottages offer two wilderness vacation rental homes. The cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with antique bath tubs, a full kitchen, dining area, living room, and sunroom. The lodge is a contemporary two-story home with a bedroom, bath with antique tub, full kitchen, and great room. The amenities include satellite TV, VCR, phones, central air and heat, period style stoves, microwaves, coffee makers, ceiling fans, fireplaces, hair dryers, laundry facilities, and barbeques. A continental breakfast is served.

The services are yoga/tai chi classes, spa, guided nature walks, hayrides guided canoeing, and fax machine and copier. Activities include canoeing, tubing, bird watching, horseback riding, golf, and biking. Antique shops, flea markets, county fairs, and country restaurants are nearby.
