Brooks, and still owned by his descendents, Brookson Plantation lays claim to the highest scoring typical whitetail deer in the state of Mississippi with an impressive "Boone and Crockett" score of 182 and seven-eights. Their lodge, the "Zeroed Inn," can accommodate up to six but they prefer only four hunters per day during deer and hog season and only two per day during turkey season as this provides each guest the maximum amount of acreage to hunt on.
