This musem and gift shop is housed in an 1836 building containing 4 rooms filled with more than 1,000 dolls, boys' and girls' toys, and accessories, dating from the 1880's to the present, French and German bisque dolls, many in original costumes and life-sized, are displayed in settings depicting nostalgic childhood pleasures. A complete history of the Alexander Doll and Composition Dolls of the 20s, 30s and 40s is provided. The gift shop contains exquisite antique and new dolls and toys in the $10 to $500 range.Handicapped access.
