Beargulch Pictograph Site TourBeargulch Pictograph is a walk-in tour of pictograph and pectroglyphs on limestone cliffs dating back 3000 years. |
Ground breaking was held June 2, 2001 with BBQ and tour and talks by archeologist from Casper, Wyoming. Come and walk, watch or join in to help record the chronicles of the limestone cliffs of Beargulch. On hand for the recording will be expert archaeologists to supervise amateur or aspiring archaeologists. It will be a summer of FUN and EXCITEMENT, combined with work. Included will be other minor site tours and artifact findings. Beargulch pictographs are located on the ranch that has been in the family for 80 years. Beargulch Pictographs can be found 26 miles SE of Lewistown or 17 miles W of Grass Range.
