Far West State Recreation Area is in southeast Montana. Fishing, swimming and boating may be enjoyed on the
Yellowstone River. There is a boat ramp provided. Tent camping is available with a limit of 14 days. The area is north of
Rosebud on Secondary 446, then west on county road.
