Rosebud is located in
Rosebud County, west of
Miles City on I-94. It is on the
Yellowstone River, ten miles east of
Forsyth.
Population was 10,505 in 1990. Rosebud county population density was 2.0 persons per square mile in 1997, making it a 'frontier' county.
