The Valley County Pioneer Museum is supported by Valley County, the Historical Society, and Friends of the Museum. Valley County has a very rich, colorful, and eventful history. Ranging from Lewis and Clark to Cowboys and Indians, the Railroad, Ft. Peck Dam, and the site of one of the major dinosaur finds of the century, Valley County Pioneer Museum reflects the entire community's history.
Open Memorial Day through Labor Day, Monday-Saturday 9-7 and Sunday 1-5.

The Pioneer Museum was built in 1970 with $45,000 of donated money, gathered by the Valley County Historical Society. The jet in front is a T-33 Trainer, placed here in 1968.
