The museum was established in 1975 in the Carnegie Library building. The museum sponsors around 12 changing exhibitions each year that showcase a variety of artists and media. Its permanent collection focuses on contemporary art of the Western states. Services include guided tours by appointment, classes, lectures and the Museum Shop. The museum is handicapped accessible on the first floor. Hours are 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

Located on the corner of Pine and Pattee. Take the Orange Street Exit off Interstate 90.
