The Dawson County Arts was founded as a nonprofit educational organization in 1991. They promote arts in the forms of drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, dance, music, poetry and literature. It provides quality educational opportunities in the arts for the public and for area schools. It provides a location and support group that will facilitate and enhance the arts in the area.
