Captain William Clark carved his name on this sandstone butte in 1806, the only remaining physical evidence along the trail of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Interpretive tours and a visitor center are provided. Located 28 miles east of Billings off Interstate 94 along the Yellowstone River.
