Pryor is located in Big Horn County, 44 miles south of Billings near Chief Plenty Coups State Historic Park. Chief Plenty Coups State Park, home and burial site of Chief Plenty Coups, last chief of the Crow Indians, is nearby. His log home and store remain as evidence of his efforts to lead his people to adopt the lifestyle of the white man. The park is 1 mile west of Pryor on the Crow Indian Reservation.
