Troy Ranger Station

The Troy Ranger Station is located just 13 miles SE of the Idaho/Montana border. Kootenai Falls, the last natural undammed falls on a river in Montana, and the Ross Creek Cedars Scenic Area are two of the major highlights in this area. The visitor will also find the Kootenai Falls Swinging Bridge, Yaak Falls, the Northwest Peak Scenic Area, the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness, as well as numerous lakes, campgrounds and hiking trails.

The office is open for visitor information on weekdays from 8:00 to 4:30. It is located a mile NW of Troy on Highway 2.
