Victor is located in
Ravalli County 38 miles south of
Missoula halfway to
Hamilton on US 93 on the banks of the Bitterroot River near the Idaho state line. Nestled in the Bitteroot Valley, Victor was named for a Flathead Indian chief. The Victor Heritage Museum is housed in the railroad depot.
