Wibaux

Wibaux is the seat of Wibaux County and lies 27 miles east of Glendive along I-4 near the North Dakota state line. The Wibaux County Museum and Visitor Information Center offers an introduction to the area and its history. The museum was built in 1892 as a town house and office building by Pierre Wibaux, notable open range cattleman. Another distinctive bulding is St. Peter's Catholic Church with its stained glass and lava rock exterior, built in 1885.
