This replicated and restored 1899 mining camp covers 12 acres and features mining relics and three dozen structures located at the base of an inactive silver and zinc mine headframe called "Orphan Girl."
Indoor exhibits include a Stanley steam engine, a player piano, mine models and more. Outside, you can see the mine cages that took men and equipment down into the depths of the mine and brought them back again.
The museum is open April through October. Seven days a week.
