The Sheridan County Museum was completed in 1968 to capture and preserve some of the historical flavor, fashions, and fixtures of Sheridan County's early days. Visitors to the museum will see Montana's longest interior mural and a historical monument near the museum commemorates Sitting Bull's surrender site.
The museum is located a mile east of Plentywood on Highway 16. There is no charge and they are open the hours of 1:00 to 5:00PM daily, Memorial Day to Labor Day.
