Ciudad Obregon is located southeast of Guaymas along federal highway 15. The city is surrounded by important Yaqui settlements, such as Torim, which was founded in the XVII century by Jesuits and Vicam, where the residents celebrate the Holy Week and the San Juan Festival on June 24th. During the festival, visitors can see many authentic dances such as the Dance of the Deer and Los Matachines.
