This town is untouched by modern development. With it's colonial buildings you'll step back in time. The town has been declared a national monument. With the same altitude as Lake Tahoe and only four hours from Mexico city it is a perfect destination to visit. There are many art schools in San Miguel de Allende and about 5,000 North Americans help make up the population of 80,000.
