Situated on a half-moon shaped bay with the same name on Jalisco's Pacific Coast, Tenacatita forms part of the new tourist attraction. Tenacatita is located 18 miles north of Melaque in the State of Jalisco on federal highway 200 in Mexico Tenacatita has white fine-white-sand beaches and strong tidal waves where one can practice fishing and sailing. Tropical forests are at your finger tips. Inhabited by species from jaguars and deer to the smallest reptiles. In Tenacatita you can find thermal water sprouts as well as rocks of different shapes and colors. Great for the beach combers.
