Built in 1880, the Second Empire-style building that is the Kent Museum is surrounded by a beautiful landscape of fields and a sparkling bay. The museum will take you back to the turn of the century where guides dressed as boarders tell true stories about life in the convent, the history and architecture of the building as a former educational institution, and more. The neogothic chapel itself is an architectural treasure. The museum also contains many exhibits about life in Acadia in times past.
