Located on the University of North Carolina campus, two blocks south of Franklin Street. Displays include paintings, drawings, sculpture, photographs, prints, period furniture and artifacts representing a wide range of cultures. Edgar Degas, Eugene Delacroix, Peter Paul Rubens, Max Weber and Emanuel de Witte are among the artists represented. Classical, Oriental, 20th-century, and North Carolina folk art collections are also exhibited.
