Gallery Art 1 is a non-profit, community-based gallery and instructional center, opened in 1998, by three local artists and art supporters. Since its beginning, Art 1 has hosted over 20 different feature exhibits and given local artists a chance to show their work in a consistent environment of art enthusiasts. Art 1 functions through means of donations, in-kind contributions, and small processing fees. Art 1 offers a wide variety of classes and workshop opportunities to students, beginning artists and established artists given by the best instructors available, both local and internationally known.
