Discovery Place

In an educational complex incorporating an exhibition hall, a planetarium and an OMNIMAX theater. Exhibits are designed to involve visitors and enhance their perceptions of science and ecology. A three-story rain forest has extensive rock formations, waterfalls and exotic birds. Other exhibits comprise human physiology, a space station and mission control center, chemistry hearth, Aquarium Ocean Touch Pool, and a planetarium which features one of the country's largest domes. Hours vary by exhibit and season; call for schedule.
