Operates three sightseeing excursions in the area that depart from Bryson City, Dillsboro and Andrews. The Nantahala Gorge Excursion is scheduled from Bryson City. The 4.5-hour round trip departs from the depot on Everett Street and includes a stopover at the Nantahala Outdoor Center where picnic facilities are available. Seating is offered on the caboose and in open and enclosed cars. A dinner excursion departs on Saturday from Dillsboro. Food is available. Departure times vary, mid-March through December. Reservations are suggested.
