High Country Inn is carved into a mountain on 6 acres containing a spring that continuously turns the area's largest water wheel. It has 120 spacious and comfortable guest rooms and suites. The suites are known as Appalachian Suite, Daniel Boone Suite, Journey's End, Hunter's Ridge Cabin, Escape Cabin, King Rooms and Standard Double rooms. Each room has full kitchen, living room, gas log fireplace in bedroom, king bed and sleeper sofa, and Jacuzzi in bathroom. The lounge serves dinner daily. They also have complete facilities for meetings, conferences, receptions, banquets, and other social events, accommodating up to 250 people.
