Mexico-Cardenas Museum |
This museum was founded to honor the friendship between General Lzaro Crdenas, president of Mexico, 1934-1940, and Mr. Cameron Townsend, founder of the Summer Institute of Linguistics. On display are artifacts from Mexican Indians relating to their customs and languages. Pottery, native costumes, folk art and photographs are on display. A 1938 Chevrolet sedan, a gift from the president, can also be seen.
