Raeford is located in
Hoke County (of which it is the county seat) between
Fayetteville and
Laurinburg along US Hwy 401 near the Fort Bragg Military Reservation and the Lumber River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 3,855, an increase of 386 since 1990.
