This site features a 1784 tavern, an 1840's timbered barn and the Old Salem Tavern Restuarant located in the 1816 Tavern Annex. The tavern features bedrooms, dining rooms and a kitchen and are furnished in period. It's said that George Washington was a guest for two nights in 1791.
