The French Broad River Campground, a small riverside RV and tent campground of 13 acres, is located on 2,000 feet of river frontage. Amenities include tubing, camp store, recreation room, kayak rentals, canoe rentals, and electric and water hookups. The cabins are fully equipped and furnished and have cable TV, kitchenettes, and bathrooms.

Tent spaces, camp fires, cabin rentals, hot showers, and remote tent sites are available. In addition, the area offers fishing, nature hiking trails, horseback riding, tennis, and ski slopes. Thomas Wolfe Memorial, Grandfather Mountain, North Carolina Arboretum, Great Smokey Mountain Railway, and Looking Glass Falls are a few of the attractions.
