Cavalier North Dakota

Cavalier is located in the northeastern corner of the state in Pembina County 20 miles west of the Minnesota border.

For outdoor lovers, Icelandic State Park on the banks of the Tongue River about 5 miles west of town. In addition, Cavalier Country Club, a 9-hole course open to the public, is a great, relaxing 2,700-yard course with a par of 36. The USGA rating is only 32.4 and has a "slope" of 92 (where 100 would be a not-so-challenging course).
