Tongue River

The Tongue River rises in northeastern North Dakota in Cavalier County flowing in a northeasterly direction through Cavalier and Pembina County before emptying into the Red River of the North. The scenic river has spawned Icelandic State Park, for those that enjoy the outdoors.
