Forman is located in southeastern North Dakota in
Sargent County (of which it is the county seat) about 70 miles southwest of
Fargo along Highway 11.
Lake Tewaukon and Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge located about 15 miles southeast of town provide nearby recreation. In addition, Forman Golf Course offers its 9-hole layout to the general public.
