Minnewaukan Public Library, serving an area of 320 residents, has a collection of 9,600 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 10 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials140 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes.
Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $2,600. Patrons make 3,300 visits annually, and check out materials 5,000 times. Twenty-eight percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
