Brewster Nebraska

Brewster is located in Blaine County (of which it is the county seat), between Halsey and Burwell off of Hwy 91, near the North Loup River.

The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 19, a decrease of 3 since 1990.

Situated in the Nebraska Sandhills, Brewster is the largest vegetated sand dunes in the world. This town is an old cowboy settlement with an original late 1800 buildings still standing on Main Street.

The Cowboy Trail is a spectacular railroad corridor turned into a 321 mile biking trail, running from Norfolk to Chadron. Highway 20 serves as a companion for most of the trail.
