Creighton is located in
Knox County northwest of
Norfolk, between
Plainview and
Verdigre, off of Hwy 59, near a full service campground and to the south of the Santee Indian Reservation.
The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,126, a decrease of 97 since 1990.
The community of Creighton is found in one of the best agricultural districts in the Midwest, principal crops include corn, soybeans, oats, and alfalfa. Lifestock and industrial operations abound in the area as well.
