Housed in the restored Art Deco-style Union Station, the museum features life-size sculptures in the Main Waiting Room. A multi-media presentation about the history of Omaha and the surrounding area, an 85-foot-long model train set, a permanent exhibit about the Union Pacific Railroad, and traveling and temporary exhibits are offered. The platform and tracks south of the building have been enclosed and display restored train cars.
