Elmwood

Elmwood is located in Cass County east of Lincoln, and just off Hwy 34, near the Louisville State Recreation Area and Platte River State Recreation Area. Elmwood is part of the Omaha, Nebraska-Iowa metro area.

Elmwood was founded in 1868 when a post office was established near a grove of Elm trees.

The Bess Streeter Aldrich House & Museum is a popular attraction in Elmwood.
