Contained within the center are 1400 acres of forest, wetlands and marshlands, penetrated by 17 miles of walking and hiking trails and a mile-long, barrier-free boardwalk. Here you are bound to see many forms of wildlife and lovely views of the river. An interpretive center offers environmental and animal exhibits. A one-mile, wheelchair-accessible boardwalk, fun activities and a gift shop.
