Harvard is located in Clay County between Hastings and Sutton off of US Hwy 6, near the West Fork Big Blue river and the U.S Meat Animal Research Center.Harvard is part of the Hastings Metropolitan Area. In 1874 Hastings became an incorporated community. This community is home to Hastings College.
