Their 20 bed Critical Access Hospital is an acute care facility with professional service for medical, surgical or supportive situations. The Medical Staff includes many visiting specialists who have regular clinics in the hospital and are available on a consulting basis. A professional and support staff of about ninety employees helps Kimball Health Services in serving approximately 6,000 residents. Total health needs are provided to patients either in the hospital or by well-developed consultant referral systems. The ability to provide quality health care locally is a capability unique to Kimball Health Services since they opened in 1950.
