Here is commemorated the career of Cozad's native son, Robert Henri. Several historic buildings are preserved. The museum's displays include an original painting, several ink sketches and numerous reproductions of the works of Henri, a founder of the Ash Can School. The museum occupies the boyhood home and former hotel built by Henri's father.
