Trinity Bay reaches inland from the Atlantic Ocean in southeast Newfoundland. It almost meets
Placentia Bay from the other side, instead leaving an isthmus that connects the
Avalon Peninsula with the rest of the island. The shoreline of Trinity Bay is dotted with fishing villages such as
Trinity and
Hearts Content.
