Placentia Bay

Placentia Bay is an indentation on the southern coast of Newfoundland. It is separated from Trinity Bay by a narrow isthmus which connects the Avalon Peninsula to the rest of the island of Newfoundland.

Placentia is on the east shore of Placentia Bay.
