Antrim is located in Hillsborough County in south central New Hampshire on US Highway 202 near the town of Hillsborough, Gregg Lake and Willard Pond.
The town was settled prior to the American Revolution but was incorporated in 1777. It was named for County Antrim in Ireland, which was the native home of the land's owner, Philip Riley.
